None (other than the day tank) are center mounted. That means that running off one tank will pretty quickly lead to imbalance and listing to one side of the boat.

I'm still pondering how to best manage fuel consumption and storage.Peter Haydenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06586816406202219798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3086978695636448584.post-62068411468894570992013-01-08T22:36:34.012-05:002013-01-08T22:36:34.012-05:00I'll do a future post with more detail, but I ...I'll do a future post with more detail, but I plan on installing N2K along with a variety of Maretron and other N2K devices. I am using their stuff on my current boat, including pressure sensors for water tank gauges. It works quite well. Stay tuned for more detail....Peter Haydenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06586816406202219798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3086978695636448584.post-59561454054790655372013-01-08T20:58:17.401-05:002013-01-08T20:58:17.401-05:00Oh, at the very least, I'd put in the back-bon...Oh, at the very least, I'd put in the back-bone, step-to-stern, and ER-to-PH-to-Tower now, while it's cheap. Very thorough, bootstraps approach to vessel monitoring. They have a great solution for tank monitoring as well. I also love the current-sense switches that can tell you if a circuit is drawing current (like a bilge pump) or not (like your navigation lights). I'm a Dreamer now, but I still spent hours architecting a solution for my Cedric Rhoadsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3086978695636448584.post-74794322999857441532013-01-07T13:37:59.682-05:002013-01-07T13:37:59.682-05:00Thanks.
