Tolstoi Bay
We anchored in Tolstoi Bay on Prince of Wales island last night. It's strictly a utilitarian stop, but an alternate to Meyers Chuck which can get a bit crowded. But Tolstoi has its downsides as well. There are major logging operations going on on both shores, so it's not exactly a wilderness setting. And the bottom appears to be rock and ledge based on how our chain rattled throughout the stay. I question how good the holding would be if it were more than 15 kts or so of wind. But as some compensation there is a nice long view to the north across Clarence Strait....
